Howdy folks! What a wonderful Stampede – I sang my guts out, and today I’m a little tired in the vocal cords, but I made it through with my BEST personal performance actually on the LAST night of Stampede (which after 12 shows is surprising.)   We’ll be posting all kinds of new photos, and a few videos shortly, but some of the highlights include:

• meeting absolutely endearing people in some of the 3 seniors’ residences where I performed, including a retiree who broke out her violin to play again after a 4 year hiatus!
• getting the tourists rowdy at the Delta Bow Valley while performing on guitar/harmonica
• packing the dance floor at the River Road House in High River.  Not only does the place have a wonderful and professional sound guy (Rich) – the stage and setup are just the perfect country dance environment.
• having wonderful on-air radio interviews in High River (Sun Country and AM 1140) to promote our shows there
• being asked to play corporate Stampede parties by clients who really enjoy having us year after year
• performing for 6500 people at First Flip
• digging out my banjo for the first time in a few years to perform Sweet City Woman – the Calgary 2012 theme song
• singing sweet country gospel tunes at St. Peter’s church on Sunday
• having my best personal performance ever (by my own estimation!) the last night of Stampede  – and the band just rocked!

Thank you to John Thiel, Joey McIntyre, Julian Kerr, Lawrence Ball, Georgia Korba, and Johnny Gozde who made up my fantastic “Crew,” adding amazing talents to my songs with utmost professionalism!  And thanks to all of the clients and agents who booked us during the Calgary Stampede’s 100 Year Anniversary celebration!  We look forward to working with you again!  Yahoo!!!
