This week, the band is working on adding some new country material in prep for Stampede 2013….in addition to the new songs I wrote this year (Money, Lovestuck, the Boss is a Woman) we’re adding some more current country tunes by Toby Keith, Miranda Lambert, Dixie Chicks, Zac Brown Band, etc.   I’m having fun learning Corb Lund’s “Truck Got Stuck” — let’s see if I can pull that off…trick is to really KNOW those lyrics and drawl them out like it’s easy!   Yes, I love authentic Canadian content — and Corb is Albertan so there ya go!  If I’m lucky maybe he’ll sing one of my tunes someday…
