NEW SHOWS Dec 6 and 28 have been added to the calendar — and these ones are open to the public – yahoo!

Can’t believe the year is almost out – and what an interesting year it’s been.   I am now my own “Rusty Rider” since hubby and I got motorcycles!   And The Crew is better than it’s ever been.   Anchors in my band are Steve Bridgett (keyboard/vox/keyboard bass) and Scott Muirhead (drums/vox) and this year we were also super lucky to have had Dave Glowasky (fiddle) on our roster, who plans to return for next Stampede as well (he is now living/touring Denmark.)  These guys are the real deal, as musicians and people — really talented and real team players.  Meanwhile, Steve, Scott and I are enjoying working as a 3-piece act;  we also add in bass/guitar for larger shows.

Steve, Scott and I have begun working on the tunes for the new CD.  Steve is a pro on the musical arranging, and is building out charts/arrangement for heading into the studio (which will most likely be Airwaves again, because Danny is great to work with).  The new material I’ve written over the past year ranges from folk to jazz to country — with a lot sitting in the pop category too.  I’m not sure exactly what to do about that, but I can guarantee that the next CD will have a lot of variety on it!
