We had a wonderful rehearsal last night — the band really liking all the new tunes I’ve been writing…and we’re rehearsing to mix new things into the set list, and prepare for recording our next CD!

We’re doing some planning for a new “show” — which doesn’t mean a “gig” in this context, but rather a new performance format, to mix in some better ideas/transitions and ways of really showcasing the band. The cool part is that everybody in the Crew sings really well, so we’re going to be doing some nice features and mixing up the instrumentation too.

Upcoming shows? We had great shows in Bragg Creek and Cochrane in December (brrrr!) and are hoping to get some more dates there if scheduling permits. We are also still on the lookout for more great venues that have the right personality and crowd for us either here in Calgary or the immediate surrounding area. If you know of some, please drop me a line. As I probably mentioned, we prefer a mature-ish crowd (say 35+ …not seeking DJ type rooms so much) and great owners/managers who make cleanliness and good food a top priority!
