Whewwww! Made it through Stampede with a VOICE at the end – small miracle after 13 shows (about half of them solo gigs)! Thanks in large part to the support of “The Crew” – who are all great singers with whom I shared the load…and to Gary on sound/lighting, for his meticulous attention to the sound/monitors so I could actually hear myself without pushing too hard! Gary was actually pulling quadruple duty this Stampede (sound/lighting/equipment/photography), so check out the photos page for those…he’ll soon have some new videos posted too. Also got some WONDERFUL news: I landed a $10K grant from Rawlco to help finance my next CD! Yippeeee! ALSO DON’T FORGET TO ATTEND THE SUN & SALSA FESTIVAL THIS SUNDAY IN KENSINGTON. WE’RE ON THE MAIN STAGE 2, NEAR SAFEWAY, FROM 1:10pm to 1:50pm.
