Thank you to all the folks who came out to the September 26th show and gave us feedback on the songs! We made dinner, had a great time, and got some wonderful and constructive ideas on how to approach this album. We have decided to re-work our original concept/plan substantially, to give us more flexibility around the number of tunes and the budget, so stay tuned for news coming soon. Also, the film premiere of Ellen’s Shoes at the Calgary International Film Festival on October 3rd was amazing – finally got to see how the score I’d written tied in with the film in its final version – Wahoooo!! If the director decides to post it on the web (perhaps after his festival rounds have been completed), I’ll include a link on this website.
