Returning from my wonderful residency at Jasper Park Lodge (which was amazing – it’s gorgeous there in the fall, and the JPL staff and patrons were incredible), I’ve been thinking of everyone out there who is delving back into school, and fall music lessons.  

Cornerstone Music offered me a lunch series show as part of Women’s History Month, which is going to happen on October 18th.  Since they offer music lessons to so many aspiring musicians, I thought I would tell my own personal history and evolution from aspiring student to professional musician.

That means walking your through the lessons I’ve had, both musical and in the school of hard knocks… which will be plenty of fun.  If you’re looking to know what it’s been like for me, and how to get yourself on the road to performing professionally, this is the show for you. :)
