Today I nearly fell off my chair when I had a chat with legendary cowboy and songwriter, Ivan Daines.  He’d included me on his entertainment roster again this year for his annual COUNTRY MUSIC PICKNIC, which is coming up in August.  But he blew me away when he told me he WROTE ME A SONG!  Now, he says he didn’t know a whole bunch about me –  just seeing me perform last year, and we had a good chat after the show.  But he said he got the impression I was a real “road warrior” of a woman musician who then wandered off into the sunset (apparently he couldn’t track me down for awhile afterward) and it inspired his song.   He was digging around to find the words while I had him on the phone, and says he thinks its a good fun song, and so now I can’t wait to hear it — Yahooooo!!!!   That’s the coolest, coolest thing.  How do you ever know what a day will bring??
