This week I joined ISES Calgary, an organization for Event Planners in Calgary, as well as Tourism Calgary.  Upon chatting with quite a few event planners, they suggested I get more “plugged in” to the industry by joining up.  I think this is a wonderful step for the band, and we should be showcasing there soon.

The organization has a mixture of event planning agents who do conventions, weddings, corporate and private functions.   There are also some hotels/venues who are members.  Tourism Calgary also has members that include major hotels, restaurants and attractions all over the city….sounds like a good opportunity to me!
